Seventy-four Akerman Senterfitt lawyers representing 32 practice areas were named in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in Americaฎ. While fewer than 3% of all lawyers in the country were selected for inclusion in the guide, 15% of Akerman's attorneys were listed. The Best Lawyers in America list is compiled through a peer-review survey in which thousands of the top lawyers in the U.S. confidentially evaluate their professional peers.
