Paris and Frankfurt
Two
law firms from the Europe/Middle East/Africa region have joined
Interlaw, bringing the network to sixty-four members, twenty-eight of
which hail from E/ME/A region. Alexen Avocats (Paris and Lyon) and Arnecke Siebold (Frankfurt) were both unanimously selected by delegates at the Annual
Global Meeting in Mexico City. Paris delegate Rem? Turcon and
Frankfurt delegate Michael Siebold immediately impressed fellow members
with their enthusiasm and both have indicated an interest in taking
active roles in the Association. Noble & Scheidecker (Luxembourg),
originally introduced at the Regional Meeting in Edinburgh, is the
other 2005 addition from Europe, and the network also welcomed Beijing

Alexen Avocats of Paris and Lyon, a full service law firm with a strong international commercial practice was founded in 1998 by the regrouping of three distinguished firms with origins dating to the middle of the last century. Interlaw Chair Jim Harrowell of Hunt & Hunt (Sydney) and Boekel de Ner?e’s (Amsterdam) Philip Paterson, who is also the immediate past vice chair of Interlaw’s European Region, visited the Parisian firm at the suggestion of Board Member Tom Raleigh of Akerman Senterfitt (Florida), who is familiar with Alexen’s reputation for service.
