Interlaw’s Thai firm Celebrates Recognition by Asia Law Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers
Three senior partners at Blumenthal Richter & Sumet (BRS), Interlaw’s partner firm in Thailand, have been named in the prestigious list of Top 100 Lawyers in Thailand by Asia Business Law Journal.
Ira Blumenthal, Andreas Richter and Sumet Mingmongkolmitr have all received recognition by the publication, which describes the Top 100 as ‘the A-List’. Representatives are chosen following rigorous research and nominations received from in-house counsel in Thailand and abroad, as well as Thailand-focused partners at international law firms.
Ira’s practices are based principally in broad-based foreign direct investment, property, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate matters in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Andreas specializes in corporate, commercial and business law and regularly advises North American, European and Japanese multi-national corporations, SMEs, as well as start-up companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Co-founder Sumet has led the firm’s tax and customs department through years of successive growth and has been central to BRS establishing itself as one of the foremost independent providers of tax and customs advice in the region.
