Jackson, Etti & Edu, Interlaw’s partner firm in Nigeria, has appointed Folasade Olusanya as co-managing partner, where she will also serve as chair of the firm’s leadership team and chair of the partnership.

Fola has been at the firm for 23 years and brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in banking and finance, as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. She also served as head of the firm’s corporate commercial department for over 20 years.   

Furthermore, in recognition of her expertise and leadership capabilities, Fola was invited to lead the technical committee that played a significant role in the development and passage of the Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023.   

She will work alongside Koye Edu and will be primarily responsible for overseeing the development of all the practice areas, sectors, talent management, knowledge management and growth. Koye will continue to oversee the management of the firm’s key clients program, business development, human resources and people services and information technology. Both leaders will be responsible for the firm’s strategy and continued focus on client service.
