INTERLAW LIVE: Interlaw Academy 2022-2023: Redefining Client Care

Interlaw ensures professional development is at the forefront of our organization and hosts quarterly network-wide meetings to discuss topical issues and latest legal innovations. Additionally, relations between our strategic partners are further enhanced through regular workshops, receptions, professional congresses and informal 'meet ups'.

Delivery of excellence in the provision of legal services across the world is at the heart of our proposition. Understanding and implementing the fundamentals of client care in the legal services arena is key to both developing and retaining a secure client base, and a key constituent of being considered a first-class lawyer.

The 2022-2023 Interlaw Academy, provides the partners, lawyers and professionals of Interlaw with engaging and practically focussed training and development over the course of eight sessions, to assist them with the delivery of excellence in client service.

In our first session together, Where Things Go Wrong With Client Service, we will use a model of the client journey to examine issues which can most easily result in a poor client experience. With reference to Thomson Reuters research, we will chart what clients are looking for and identify the areas lawyers and professionals must prioritize to ensure consistently high levels of client service across their work. This session will be led by Steve Blundell and Eve Starks from Thomson Reuters.
