Interlaw lawyers from across the globe have contributed to a special Law Society of England and Wales LGBT+ podcast.

Brett Hearnden, partner at Interlaw’s partner firm in Australia, Hunt & Hunt and Peter Dernbach, partner at Interlaw’s partner firm in Taiwan, Winkler Partners, joined hosts Ewan Watson and Helen Randall (herself of English Interlaw partner firm, Trowers and Hamlins) to discuss their experiences of life as LGBT+ legal professionals in Australia and Taiwan and how Pride is being marked in their locations in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.

Brett is a Sydney partner at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers and a member of the firm’s litigation team. His practice is focussed on regulatory enforcement, administrative reviews and public law.

Peter is coordinating partner of Taipei at Winkler Partners, overseeing the firm’s intellectual property practice and community initiatives.

Helen is a senior equity partner and the Diversity Champion at Trowers & Hamlins LLP in London, as well as being the Interlaw Diversity & Inclusion representative for the EMEA region and Chair of Stonewall Housing, a specialist LGBT+ housing association.

The Law Society’s Pride podcast series speaks to LGBT+ legal professionals in different countries around the world to find out how the pandemic has affected them and how Pride has been marked this year.
