Interlaw has admitted two new partner firms based in Kenya and Nigeria to its elite global legal services practice alongside additional offices in China, further expanding the breadth and depth of expertise available to its international client base.

B M Musau & Co., Advocates LLP, (Nairobi, Kenya) and Sefton Fross (Lagos, Nigeria), bring a diverse range of expertise to the network in disciplines including employment, banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, real estate, tax and energy.

They join the 7,500 plus lawyers that are already part of Interlaw's comprehensive global offering, as it continues to successfully grow and attract the most reputable independent law firms to serve multinational clients.

The move comes after Interlaw bolstered its China footprint earlier this year when Zhonglun W&D Law Firm offices in the important regional cities of Hangzhou and Chengdu were added to the network.

Glenn M. Cunningham, Chair of Interlaw, said:

"Interlaw's success is rooted in its unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality legal expertise in every jurisdiction we serve. Our new partner firms in Kenya and Nigeria and two new additional cities in China, enhance both our presence in Africa and the Asia Pacific and our wider global footprint. This brings multiple benefits for clients and our existing partner firms alike, who will have increased access to excellent service and first class legal and business advice in these important jurisdictions and beyond.”

Established in 1999, and headed up by managing partner, Benjamin Musau, B M Musau & Co., Advocates LLP specialises in corporate commercial law, covering a variety of practice areas ranging from arbitration and banking finance and insolvency to M&A, real estate and tax. Headed up by managing partner, Olayemi Anyanechi, Sefton Fross operates from offices in Lagos, Nigeria and was established in 2013. The firm specialises in the fields of banking, finance, capital markets, derivatives, M&A and energy. It operates both locally and internationally, with some 30% of clients based overseas.
