John O’Sullivan is the managing partner and head of banking and financial services at AMOSS LLP, Interlaw’s representative firm in Dublin, Ireland.
John co-founded AMOSS in 2012 with Alan Adams, Dan Murphy and Gavin Simons with a view to introducing a fresh and new approach to the provision of legal services in Dublin.
For over 25 years, John has acted for large Irish credit institutions, individual and corporate borrowers, and more recently the new entrants into the Irish lending market (including non-traditional or alternative lenders) advising on all aspects of commercial property finance, acquisition finance, construction and development finance, and general restructuring.
In recent years, John’s focus has been on advising his existing lender clients as they re-engage in lending activity across the corporate market. In addition, John has advised a significant number of alternative lenders as they enter and establish their foothold in the Irish market in commercial real estate and development finance. His particular expertise in the areas of lending and commercial property gives him an ideal perspective and understanding of the issues involved in these transactions.
Since AMOSS became a member of Interlaw in October 2016, John has been a regular attendee and active participant at European and international Interlaw conferences.
