Interlaw’s Finland Partner Expands EU and Competition Law Team
Interlaw’s partner firm in Finland, Waselius & Wist, has expanded its EU and competition law team with the strategic appointment of Sami Hartikainen as Counsel.
The move underlines the continued growth of the firm’s EU and competition practice and will enable it to offer even greater support to clients in all aspects of EU law going forward.
Sami is particularly known for his expertise in state aid and legal issues relating to the internal market. He joins Waselius & Wist from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland where he successfully represented the Finnish Government in numerous cases before the European Commission and the European Court of Justice. Sami has more than 15 years of experience advising clients across a wide range of industries on a variety of EU and competition law matters.
