Seven of Interlaw’s partner firms across Latin America have been recognized at the prestigious Chambers and Partners Latin America Awards 2023, with five receiving the accolade of Law Firm of the Year.

Moreno Baldivieso in Bolivia, BLP in Costa Rica, Pérez Bustamante & Ponce in Ecuador, Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega in Panama and Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados in Peru all won Law Firm of the Year in their respective countries. There was also recognition for Posse Herrera Ruiz in Colombia and Guyer & Regules in Uruguay, who received their jurisdiction’s Client Service Award.

Neftalí Garro, Interlaw’s Latin America Chair, commented:

“It is fantastic to see so many Interlaw firms across the region recognized for their expertise and best-in-class client service by an internationally respected organization. Several other partner firms were also nominated, which is an achievement in itself and demonstrates the quality we are privileged to have across our network.”

According to Chambers and Partners, the awards recognize “law firm pre-eminence in key jurisdictions in the region”. The awards reflect achievements over the past 12 months where firms are judged on their work, strategic growth and excellence in client service. They are based on the research for the most recent edition of Chambers Latin America Guide, where Interlaw is also named as an elite global network.
