Interlaw’s Spanish Firm Advises on Major Energy Deal
Interlaw’s partner firm in Spain, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, has advised Aurea Green Gass, which constructs biomethane production plants, on the sale of a portfolio of 150GWh/year of projects to Verdalia Bioenergy, which specialises in the operation of biomethane plants.
The deal between the two companies will consist of five biogas projects under development in Spain, which will create around 80 jobs and will reduce methane emissions by 1,276 tonnes per year.
The GA_P team advising on the deal included Álvaro Mateo, Clara Rivero, Luis Cuesta, Andrés Castro, Inés López and Rodrigo Fernández-Chillón, from the firm’s corporate and commercial team.
