2025-26 InterACT BD and Marketing Forum: Client Targeting That Delivers

Interlaw ensures professional development is at the forefront of our organization and hosts quarterly network-wide meetings to discuss topical issues and latest legal innovations. Additionally, relations between our strategic partners are further enhanced through regular workshops, receptions, professional congresses and informal 'meet ups'.

In this session, we will explore practical strategies for identifying and pursuing your client targets, whether that is revisiting dormant clients or approaching new companies globally. 

Participants will gain insights into classifying the ideal target, understanding targeting criteria, leveraging data and internal networks, and aligning BD and marketing efforts to drive more focused and effective client development.

In this interactive session, we'll cover how to identify, build and segment target lists, identify cross-border opportunities within the Interlaw network, and develop tailored approaches to deepen client relationships and win new work.  

The session will be led by Donna McEnery, Business Development Lead at Interlaw, who will share practical insights and examples from her time working at global law firms DLA Piper, Squire Patton Boggs and Eversheds, and MaĆ«lle Deniaud, Head of Business Development, Marketing and Communication Strategy at UGGC Avocats.
