Beata Glinska Appointed EMEA Chair of Women of Interlaw Network

Interlaw has announced the appointment of Beata Glinska, senior partner at Glinska & Mišković, its partner firm in Croatia, as EMEA Chair of the Women of Interlaw Network (WIN) affinity group.
Beata is a founding partner of Glinska & Mišković, and leads the firm’s real estate projects practice. She has extensive experience advising international investors, banks, developers, retailers and construction companies on major projects and transactions in Croatia, alongside expertise spanning corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, restructuring and insolvency, dispute resolution, procurement and employment matters.
A highly regarded practitioner in the Croatian market, Beata has been ranked by Chambers Europe for 18 years and is currently recognised across real estate, banking and finance, and corporate and commercial law.
Her appointment builds on a longstanding contribution to Interlaw and its international community. Earlier this year, Beata and the Glinska & Mišković team hosted colleagues in Dubrovnik, Croatia for Interlaw’s 2026 EMEA Regional Meeting. She has also contributed her experience and perspective to Interlaw’s virtual InterACT Managing Partner Forum and other network initiatives, sharing insights with fellow law firm leaders and helping to strengthen relationships between firms across the region.
As EMEA Chair, Beata will help lead the next phase of WIN’s activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, creating further opportunities for women throughout Interlaw firms to build relationships, exchange experiences and support one another’s professional development.
WIN brings together female professionals from different practice areas, jurisdictions and roles across the Interlaw network. Through networking, professional development, mentorship and other initiatives, the group provides a forum for women to share experiences and ideas, develop international relationships and support each other throughout their careers.
Commenting on her appointment, Beata said, “I am delighted to take on the role of EMEA Chair of the Women of Interlaw Network. One of the things I value most about Interlaw is the opportunity it gives us to build meaningful relationships with colleagues from different countries, firms, practice areas and stages of their careers. Hosting the 2026 EMEA Regional Meeting in Dubrovnik this year brought that home very strongly; the conversations and connections that happen when we bring people together are an important part of what makes this network special.
“WIN gives us an opportunity to build on those relationships and create a strong community for women across our EMEA firms and beyond. I would like us to provide a forum where women can speak openly about their experiences, learn from one another and develop connections that support them both professionally and personally. I am particularly interested in bringing together women at different stages of their careers, so that we can share perspectives across generations and create opportunities for mentoring, leadership development and collaboration.
“I also want WIN to be a group that people feel they can actively participate in and help shape. There is a tremendous amount of experience and talent across our firms, and I look forward to working with North America and Asia Pacific Chairs Deanna Koestel and Christine Chen respectively, and hearing from colleagues about the issues that matter to them and the initiatives they would find most valuable. My aim is to build on the excellent work already undertaken through WIN by outgoing EMEA Chair Jennifer Carrel, and ensure that women across the EMEA region have even more opportunities to connect, contribute and play an active role in the wider Interlaw community.”
