Interlaw has maintained its position as a top ranked legal network, achieving elite law firm network status positioning in the 2025 Chambers and Partners Global Guide.

According to the highly respected guide, Interlaw was praised for its “impressive roster of lawyers”, “top tier service” and “commitment to quality control”. Chambers also highlighted how Interlaw benefits its members, with its “structured business groups in various practice and sector areas” and “innovative technology to monitor referrals for a seamless stream of work across the network”.

The recognition comes following another year of growth for Interlaw, which has seen it announce new partner firms in strategically important regions including Africa and the Asia-Pacific, while making several senior appointments to its board and practice areas and launch its new five-year strategy.

It was also named Network of the Year at the prestigious Lawyer European Awards, the second time in three years it has been awarded the accolade. The judges called Interlaw an “impressive network with great client reach" and noted its “continuous commitment to quality and innovation”.

Commenting on the Chambers ranking, Michael Pattinson, global chair of Interlaw, said:

“While Interlaw has been named an elite global network by Chambers and Partners for many years, the recognition is never taken for granted. It is testament to the ongoing hard work, commitment and high-quality service of each of our partner firms across the globe, who all play such an important part in the collective success of our network.

“Over the past year, Interlaw has continued to grow, by welcoming new partner firms in strategically important jurisdictions across the world, and has continued to evolve, with new affinity groups, new training and new technologies.

“We are now embarking on our next five-year strategy, which will see us focus on growth, increasing cross-border working, nurturing new talent and leadership, and expanding our digital capabilities, including Generative AI.”

Interlaw has also been named an elite global network in both the 2025 Chambers and Partners Canada and Latin America Guides, with the European rankings set to be published later this year.

The Chambers Global 2025 Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms in over 200 jurisdictions across the world and is based on in-depth research and thousands of one-to-one interviews conducted by its team of experienced researchers.
