Interlaw Announces Network-First AI Collaborations with Harvey and Legora

Interlaw has become the first global network to partner with leading AI platforms Harvey and Legora, marking a pivotal moment in the adoption of advanced technology tools across the global legal profession.
In one of the most ambitious coordinated AI initiatives undertaken by a global law firm network, the programs with Harvey and Legora brought together lawyers from firms across the worldwide Interlaw network in structured programs designed to accelerate understanding, adoption, and the practical application of AI-enabled legal services.
The successful Harvey and Legora trials have seen participating firms from across the world engage in a series of coordinated training sessions designed to provide collaborative learning opportunities tailored to different legal disciplines and workflows.
The pilots have enabled global lawyers to build practical knowledge and confidence in applying AI to real-world legal work and support high-quality client service in both transactional and dispute-related matters.
Both trials form part of Interlaw’s broader five-year strategy to expand access to cutting-edge technology and foster innovation across its global network of more than 150 offices worldwide. By enabling firms of all sizes and markets to engage directly with leading AI tools, Interlaw aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration and ensure its partner firms remain at the forefront of a rapidly evolving legal landscape.
Michael Pattinson, Global Chair of Interlaw, said, “The legal profession is experiencing a period of profound technological change, so our priority is to ensure that Interlaw firms, wherever they are in the world, have access to the tools, knowledge and support needed to serve clients at the highest level.”
“These groundbreaking, industry-first collaborations with Harvey and Legora allow us to explore how AI can be deployed responsibly and effectively in legal practice.”
“By undertaking these structured pilot programs on a global scale, we are not only accelerating learning across the world but also building a shared understanding of how innovation can enhance the way we work across multiple jurisdictions.”
Carl Fuda, VP of Partnerships at Harvey said, “We are delighted to partner with Interlaw. Interlaw’s collaborative model and international reach make it an ideal partner to explore how AI can be implemented across diverse legal systems and practice areas. By working closely with lawyers around the world, we can better understand their needs and help shape the future of AI-enabled legal services in a way that is both practical and impactful.”
Linda Björkenheim, Head of Partnerships at Legora added, “Working with Interlaw on this global initiative has demonstrated the power of collaboration and shared learning in accelerating AI adoption within the legal sector. The engagement across the network was exceptional and this initiative has shown what can be achieved through coordinated international cooperation.”
As the legal sector continues to navigate the evolving impact of artificial intelligence, these initiatives underscore Interlaw’s commitment to proactive, collaborative innovation, ensuring its partner firms across the world are well positioned to deliver forward-looking, technology-enabled legal services to clients worldwide.
