Steven Lisi Zhou, deputy managing partner at Zhonglun W&D, Interlaw’s partner firm in China, has been appointed at the new Asia Pacific chair of the global network’s healthcare special business team.

An award-winning attorney, Steven has extensive experience in the medical and healthcare sector, including in medical-related ligitation matters. For six years he was general counsel for Landwind Medical, one of China’s leading medical equipment companies, handling general business contracts with clients, procurement and dispute avoidance issues. 

Steven’s other areas of expertise include intellectual property, data protection, bankruptcy and restructuring, and dispute resolution. In the field of intellectual property, Steven handles all aspects for multinational companies operating in China. This includes IP strategy development, infringement investigations, IP searches, litigation, administrative proceedings, and patent and trademark applications. 

In his new role as Asia Pacific chair of Interlaw’s healthcare special business team, Steven will work alongside a team of global and regional chairs to promote the capabilities of Interlaw’s global team of expert healthcare lawyers.
