Interlaw Appoints New Global Chair of its NextGeneration Lawyers Group

Jocelyn M. Bellerud, a shareholder at Interlaw’s partner firm in British Columbia, Canada, Owen Bird Law Corporation, has been appointed global chair of the network’s NextGeneration Lawyers Group. 

As part of the move, Jocelyn, who practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, succession planning for family businesses, mergers and acquisitions, charitable giving and trust and estate planning, also takes a seat on Interlaw’s board of directors. 

Jocelyn has been actively involved in Interlaw’s NextGeneration Group for a number of years, regularly participating in meetings, training and presentations with colleagues from around the globe. She also continues to serve as co-chair of the network’s North American M&A Special Business Team. 

Commenting on the news, Glenn Cunningham, chair of Interlaw, says:
