Carolina Camacho and Jennifer Carrel take on the reins from Annette Knoth and Gaute Krokann and bring with them a wealth of experience, regularly advising global companies on employment issues across multiple business sectors ranging from technology to industry.

Carolina is a partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz, Interlaw’s partner firm in Colombia, and has particular expertise in labor and immigration matters. She has advised both Colombian and international companies on a diverse range of issues including collective dismissal processes, due diligence, hiring and termination, labor settlements before the Ministry of Labor, labor litigation, administrative procedures before labor authorities, and immigration procedures.

Jennifer Carrel is a partner at Interlaw’s partner firm in France and Morocco, UGGC Avocats, and regularly advises international clients on employment law issues, particularly those companies seeking to establish a base in France or with French subsidiaries. She has a specific specialism in employment law matters arising from company restructuring and transfers, and deals with clients from sectors including IT, electronic banking and telecoms on all aspects of labor law.

Glenn Cunningham, Interlaw’s Chair, commented:

“I would firstly like to thank Annette and Gaute, whose fantastic work helped to establish our employment, labor and pensions practice as a go-to source for international expertise. Carolina and Jennifer are both highly sought-after professionals in their fields, advising on complex global issues for internationally recognized businesses, so I am thrilled to welcome them as our new co-chairs.

“They take over at a time of major change in how the global workforce operates, with the post-pandemic era of hybrid working and digital communication bringing new challenges and opportunities for businesses and employment law practitioners. I look forward to working with them and they will no doubt take the team from strength-to-strength.”

Interlaw’s Employment, Labor and Pensions team brings together the collective knowledge and expertise of more than 300 lawyers and has a deep understanding of the regulatory and cultural aspects of employing people across the globe, providing unrivalled expertise to multinational clients managing an international workforce.
