Adria Tehnika, a leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company based in Slovenia, has been acquired by UK-based low-cost airline EasyJet for an undisclosed amount. Interlaw’s partner firm in Slovenia, Križanec & Partners, advised Adria Tehnika on the terms of the deal.

Managing partner Uroš Križanec said, “For the past eight years, Križanec & Partners has had the privilege of representing Adria Tehnika, and they have subsequently worked with several Interlaw partner firms in the region on a range of legal matters. As the company enters a new phase under EasyJet’s ownership, we are excited about the continued value Interlaw offers our clients. We look forward to continuing our close cooperation with our client and supporting both Adria Tehnika and EasyJet in their future development.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in early 2026. The deal is part of EasyJet’s ongoing strategy to bring maintenance base operations in-house and includes a five-bay maintenance facility at Ljubljana’s Jože Pučnik Airport. EasyJet’s 350 planes fly on 1,000 routes between 160 airports in 35 countries. The airline carried over 100 million passengers in 2024.
