Interlaw has been named Network of the Year 2025 by leading legal industry publication The Lawyer for the second consecutive year, and third time overall. The award was announced at The Lawyer European Awards ceremony held in London, United Kingdom on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Announcing the award, The Lawyer said, "The winner was praised for its “exceptional multi-layer collaboration” through its new collaborative working program, and significant investment in senior appointments, with a clear intention to grow across its key strategic focus areas."

Accepting this year’s award was Interlaw global chair Michael Pattinson who said, "This award is a demonstration of the continued trust placed in our network by our clients and the outstanding legal work and close collaboration of our colleagues around the world. Winning for the second time in as many years makes this recognition even more meaningful. Interlaw is incredibly proud of our exceptional global team and we extend our gratitude to the judging panel as well as warm congratulations to all our shortlisted partner firms." 

Four Interlaw partner firms were also shortlisted for the Law Firm of the Year awards in their respective regional categories. The firms were AKD – Benelux; Binder Grösswang – Austria; Lakatos, Köves and Partners – Central Europe; and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo – Iberia. Gómez-Acebo & Pombo was further shortlisted for the Best Pro-Bono Initiative of the Year award.  

The Lawyer European Awards recognizes leading law firms, legal teams, and networks in Europe. The 2025 judging panel comprised more than thirty leading practitioners from across Europe both in legal private and corporate practice. Interlaw previously won the Network of the Year award in 2024 and 2022.
