Interlaw Ranked as Elite Law Firm Network in Latin America by Chambers and Partners

Interlaw has retained its position as a Band 1, elite global law firm network in the 2026 rankings by the highly-respected Chambers and Partners Latin America guide.
The 2026 edition of the Chambers and Partners guide ranks and reviews the best law firms and lawyers across the region, offering indispensable market-leading insights for those looking to discover the most suitable providers of legal help when it really matters.
Chambers and Partners noted that Interlaw “provides top-tier service and is committed to quality control with its diligent applicant vetting process and thorough performance monitoring. Members' connections are strengthened through its structured business groups in various practice and sector areas, and innovative technology used to monitor referrals for a seamless stream of work across the network.”
During 2025, Interlaw together with its partner firm in Mexico, Ramirez, Gutierrez-Azpe Rodriguez-Rivero and Hurtado, SC, hosted the InterACT GC Summit in Mexico City, bringing together nearly 70 general and in-house counsel from across the region to discuss ESG strategies, digital transformation, and how to win trust increasingly turbulent times.
The network also held its 2025 Americas’ Regional Meeting in Cartagena, hosted by its partner firm in Colombia, Posse Herrera Ruiz, which brought together over 60 lawyers from across the network for three days of leadership training, professional development, networking, and client development activities.
Interlaw’s Latin American Chair Leandro H. Cáceres said, “I am extremely proud that our network continues to gain the recognition for the outstanding work our colleagues across Latin America perform day in and day out for our clients. Interlaw’s client-centric approach, strong cross-border collaboration, and unrivaled knowledge of the intricacies of the varied markets in Latin America make us the ideal choice for clients doing business in the region.”
Chambers and Partners determines its rankings by assessing several areas, which include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness, diligence and commitment to quality. Under its criteria, a strong law firm network positions itself as a cost-effective alternative to an international law firm with many international branches.
The guide also says that, if effective, the network should help members generate cross-referral work, and that clients should benefit from unified solutions when work crosses borders.
