Stevenson, Wong & Co., Interlaw’s partner firm in Hong Kong, has acted as the legal advisers to Nanshan Aluminum International Holdings Limited on its successful listing on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

The number of shares listed totaled 88,235,300 at a share price of HK$ 26.60 per offer share, with gross proceeds from the global offering amounting to HK$ 2.34 billion, or approximately US$ 301.7 million.

Nanshan Aluminum International and its subsidiaries are a leading alumina manufacturer in Southeast Asia, committed to continually strengthening its market position in the region. Since its inception, the company’s primary focus has been on tapping into Indonesia’s abundant bauxite and coal reserves, utilizing these resources to fuel its operations. 

The listing of Nanshan Aluminum International constitutes a spin-off by its controlling shareholder, the Shanghai Stock Exchange-listed Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. The deal was led by partner Rodney Teoh, with support from senior associate Davis Lam, associates Austin Kot and Angela Lau, and legal manager Jay Lee.
