Interlaw’s Indian Partner Firm Announces Raft of New Hires

Interlaw’s partner firm in India, L&L Partners, has announced the arrival of four new hires in partners Amrita Tonk, Sidhartha Barua and Girish Rawat, alongside senior associate, Praful Jindal.

Amrita, Sidhartha and Praful all join the firm’s litigation practice, with Girish joining its banking and finance team, taking the overall numbers of partners at the firm to 84. 

Amrita started her career with the firm as an associate in 2010, before she moved to Accenture for a secondment. Over the past few years, she has served as a Metropolitan Magistrate at the Delhi Judicial Service, where she presided over 26,000 summary and summons triable matters during her tenure. 

Sidhartha has over 17 years of experience and has represented several clients before the Supreme Court of India in landmark matters which laid down the arbitration jurisprudence in the country. Before starting an independent practice in 2017, Sidhartha was working in the capacity of partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and AZB & Partners. 

Girish is a qualified company secretary and lawyer with over 14 years of experience. His areas of specialisation include banking and finance, corporate finance, project finance and structured finance among several others. He has in-depth knowledge of international markets and experience in cross border transactions.
