Aldo de Cresci, a partner at Tess Advogados, Interlaw’s partner firm in São Paulo, Brazil, has been recognised by Chambers and Partners Brazilian guide for his expertise in the timber and forestry industry.

Aldo has been named as a Band One lawyer in the field, with Chambers and Partners citing that he is routinely sought out by clients to structure sophisticated sector-related corporate investments and timberland funds and is held in the highest esteem for his prowess in matters pertaining to the purchase and supply of timber assets.

Aldo’s experience includes work in forestry-related operations, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate operations and preventive contractual and business consultancy in the sector.

He is a member of the Forest Stewardship Council, a Special Advisor on issues related to the Planted Forest sector of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), Special Advisor in the Planted Forest sector of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also acts as executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Forestry Front of the Brazilian Congress.
