Aird & Berlis, Interlaw’s partner firm in Toronto, Canada, has appointed three new partners across its municipal and land use planning, financial services and capital markets groups.

Alexander J. Suriano advises developers, municipalities, government agencies, ratepayer associations and members of the public on a broad range of land use planning and development matters. He helps clients navigate the municipal approvals process and advises on how land use planning policy and zoning regulations impact and shape their development projects. 

Evonne E. Finnegan has joined the Financial Services Group and brings both local and international experience. She represents large financial institutions and borrowers on lending transactions and has experience advising clients in diverse industries on asset-based financing and multi-jurisdictional lending transactions.  

Joining the capital markets, corporate and commercial and investment management and registration teams, Adam Braun focuses on fund structuring and implementation, structured real estate transactions, and securities registration and compliance. He advises private issuers as well as domestic and non-resident dealers, advisors, investment fund managers and private equity funds.
