Lee & Ko, Interlaw's partner firm in South Korea, has been recognised by The Korea Economic Daily for impressive attorney growth.

The firm added some 27 attorneys since February of last year (growth of 5.6%) bringing its total number of Korean attorneys to 504.

As a result, said the publication, the gap with rival firm, Bae Kim & Lee, which employs 432 Korean attorneys, has widened, making Lee & Ko the second largest law firm in Korea based on number of attorneys.

It also went on to report; “The total number of foreign attorneys in Korea working in corporate counseling and international affairs in the top ten law firms is currently at 604, exceeding 600 for the first time,” adding that “Of these law firms, Lee & Ko is the second largest with 109 foreign attorneys.”
