María José Rodríguez Macías, lead IP and IT partner at Brons & Salas, Interlaw’s partner firm in Argentina, has been recognized as a top expert by two influential organizations in her country.

She was listed in four categories in Leaders League, Latin America, as highly recommended for trademark prosecution and IP litigation, recommended for data protection and ‘valuable practice’ in patent prosecution.

This came after she was also named Patent Star and Trademark Star by IP Stars, which assesses and ranks law firms and practitioners around the world in different IP practice areas.

In her role, María José coordinates and manages global trademark and patent portfolios for local and foreign clients. She also advises on strategies for the management, preservation and defense of the intangible assets of multinational companies doing business in Argentina, as well as local companies that intend to expand internationally, and for foreign investors who want to invest in Argentina.
