Guy Block, partner at Janson, Interlaw’s firm in Belgium, has been announced as a guest speaker at Paris Arbitration Week on Monday April 7 2025, where he will take part in a panel discussion on the Future of Mining and Energy Arbitration in Africa.

Guy is head of Janson’s Energy, Climate Change & Mobility practice and is one of the most respected energy lawyers in Belgium and Europe. He is also Global Chair of Interlaw’s Energy, Infrastructure and Climate Change team, which advises on a range of energy related issues, including capital markets, corporate, construction, environment, litigation, project finance, restructuring, real estate and tax. 

The panel at Paris Arbitration Week is being hosted by the African Academy of Practice of International Law (AAILP), where Guy will discuss the trends, opportunities, and challenges, as well as the latest sector developments in arbitration law in Africa.
