Carolina Posada-Issacs, litigation and arbitration partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz, Interlaw’s partner firm in Colombia, has been appointed to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

She will be joining the commission’s renewed membership of more than 1,000 members from over 100 countries, comprising lawyers, in-house counsel, arbitrators, mediators, law professors and experts in various dispute resolution fields. 

At Posse Herrera Ruiz, she co-directs the firm’s dispute resolution practice area, with a particular expertise in national and international arbitration, as well as in judicial processes. She has more than 24 years’ experience, with a proven track record of success representing local and foreign clients before civil and administrative courts, as well as national and international arbitration tribunals. 

She is recognized in Chambers & Partners as a Band 2 lawyer in Dispute Resolution. The Legal 500, Best Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal consider her as a leader in her field. Benchmark Litigation recognizes her as “litigation star” and has included her for three years in a row, among the “Top 25 Lat-Am Women in Litigation”.
