Michelangelo Cicogna, partner at Interlaw’s firm in Italy, De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani, has been elected as an alternate member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration for the 2024-2027 term.

As a specialist in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), Michelangelo has acted as counsel in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations and advised on numerous complex matters including multi-party disputes and parallel proceedings.   

He also has expertise in dispute resolution across sectors including construction, energy, insurance, IT and TMT, fashion, M&A and general commercial and distribution matters.  

Commenting on this appointment, Michelangelo said:   

“After being part of the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission, it is a huge honour to now be called to represent Italy in the ICC International Court of Arbitration as an alternate member.”
