Ariani Nugraha and Emir Kusumaatmadja, two partners at Mochtar Karuwin Komar (MKK), Interlaw’s firm in Indonesia, have been named among the country’s 200 most influential lawyers by Hukumonline, the country’s leading legal resource for practicing lawyers.

The 200 Club: Indonesia’s Most Influential Lawyers 2025 list features 200 prominent lawyers who have made a significant contribution to the country’s legal advancement and reform. According to Hukumonline, the selection process was based on in-depth research, consultations with senior lawyers, and evaluations of professional track record, experience, and leadership in the legal field.

Ariani Nugraha has been with MKK since its inception in 1971 and is a specialist in foreign investment matters, having been involved in many of the most significant M&A, ICT and pharmaceutical matters in Indonesia’s recent commercial history.

Emir Kusumaatmadja joined MKK in 1983 and specializes in banking and finance, mining and project development, particularly in the private power sector.

Commenting on the recognition Ariana said, “These awards are indeed humbling given the number of years that both Emir and I have been in practice. Most importantly, however, is that this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams who work alongside clients on some of Indonesia’s most significant and innovative matters.
